Post-Production: The Editing process: Editing park scene

  • The sound in this ISHOWU is irrelevant to analysis as the sound on premiere pro cannot be captured, without rendering the whole trailer. We decided to not render the trailer until the end of the editing process.
  • When recorded, we added a blue tone with the DSLR canon camera.
  • Out of all the park scenes, our group decided on these four in this order.
  • We decided to use jump cuts to compliment the main characters state of mind.
  • Using the audio tab, we decided to minute the clips sound as all the scene picked up was static and interference.
  • Taking away the natural diegetic sound was a good choice as we already have a complimenting voice over and piano soundtrack.
  • However, the diegetic sound that we wanted to emphasise was the displacement of anger. Therefore, we kept the hint of sound where Robert's foot scrunched up the paper and the bottle hitting the camera.
