Post-production: The editing process: Theatre editing

• The sound in this ISHOWU is irrelevant to analysis as the sound on premiere pro cannot be captured, without rendering the whole trailer. We decided to not render the trailer until the end of the editing process.
• As a group, we decided what footage was the best to use in the theatre scene/ audition scene. The scene before dips/ fades into black, then plays the theatre scene through a series of jump cuts and then ends with a fade to black. The fade to blacks symbolise the idea of flashbacks/ fragments of Dan's memory which will show more narrative if "Dan." was a film.
• We decided to organise our clips to show an action match cut that presents the passing of time.
• Due to having a voice over and piano soundtrack, we decided to minute the raw sound from the theatre footage. However, we may add diegetic sounds of footsteps as he walks to the piano.
