Post-Production: Train scene raw footage

Clip one:
Clip two:
Clip three:
Clip four:
  • Stephanie recorded a train passing by and a clip of her sitting on the train from her perspective.
  • Instead of using the same transitions, as a group, we looked at existing social realism trailers and noticed that they use settings to replace some transitions:
  • In the social realism branch "Carol," trailer, they feature a review over a pan setting clip. From this, we was inspired to use the same idea but from a film review of our own.
  • Considering sound, using premiere pro, we will adjust the sound so that there will only be a bit of diegetic sound heard from the scene or I may get rid of the sound completely and keep the piano soundtrack/score playing in the background.
  • We will use clip three but edit the length of the clip. The reason we have chosen this clip is that the P.O.V perspective has a shine on the window which has a presence that someone is there. Also, the train's movement pans an industrialised/ country setting which will take the trailer to the next scene showing another setting.
