After editing
- I have used photoshop to turn down the exposure and the hue saturation. This has made the main image have a bleak and blue/black effect. The atmosphere created reflects the character's mood which allows the audience to understand that the main character goes through struggles
- I have included miss-en-scene body language and posture by instructing my actor/model to rest against the keyboard. By doing so, shows the audience that the character depends and goes to his piano for emotional support. Combining posture, he sits closed off which has connotations to his lonely characteristics.
- By having exposure hit his face, the main image shows how he is the central focus of the film's narrative.
- The setting is the theatre where his audition is held which compliments the posters strapline, "live.dream.dare," as the audition can change the main character's life for the better. The idea of change adheres to the social realism genre.
- The focal prop is the keyboard.
