Research and planning: language used for film review/award wreath advertisment

The feature will be applied to the film poster.

  • Considering the film will be regulated by the BBFC, I have mainly looked at film festivals in the UK.
      • The maximum number of wreath film/ award I will use is 3.
      • They are normally positioned in the upper or lower tier of the film poster.
      • I have also considered the World's top short film festivals as the social realism genre conventionally has a niche audience and falls under the independent productions.
      • Using conventions, I have looked into a list of the world's top short film festivals so that I can include institutions that already exist.
      • Considering the film will be regulated by the BBFC, I have mainly looked at film festivals in the UK.
      • From looking at the use of language, I have generated these ideas:
      1. "Winner, best in show: Sundance film festival 2016"
      2. "Official selection, The United Kingdom: International film festival."
      3. "Best picture, Raindance Film Festival, 2016"
      4. "Audience Award, Manchester International Film Festival, 2016"
